The best nokia with qwerty keyboard. Phones with QWERTY keyboard

Nokia C3 is a low-budget phone, lower in class than the E series. It can easily be confused with devices, since due to the presence of a full-size QWERTY keyboard, it is very similar in appearance to them, and also has a similar form factor. This is where the similarities end, since the Nokia C3 does not have Symbian or any other operating system.

The Finnish giant has given the phone a number of features that make it effective device for messaging. Nokia C3 stands out for its built-in social networking services (Twitter, Facebook), as well as the presence of Ovi Chat and the ability Wi-Fi connections and QWERTY keyboard.

Announced in April 2010, the Nokia C3 hit shelves in June, and this moment its price (without contract) is 100 euros. Nokia fans can choose one of three color schemes in which the phone is made – Slate Grey, Golden White and Hot Pink.

Design

Despite the fact that Nokia C3 is a phone " entry level", it looks very impressive thanks to the keyboard and the form factor that is typical of smartphones. In fact, without being a connoisseur, it can easily be confused with the E series smartphones. The stylish handset measures 115.5 x 58.1 x 13.6 mm and weighs around 114 grams (including the battery). The sleek and shiny Nokia C3 is “sensitive” to fingerprints, as the manufacturer used polished plastic in the body construction, which easily becomes dirty, especially after the phone comes into contact with the ear. Well, there are no problems in terms of assembly with this phone.

The front panel of the phone is divided into two areas - a 2.4-inch display and a full-size QWERTY keyboard. You can also notice a standard set of keys - two contextual keys, Accept/Reject keys and a large D pad. It can be used as an Enter key if you click on the middle of it. Two more keys that replace “Symbian menu” and “Clear (Delete)” are made in the form of metal strips between the context keys and the call acceptance and reset keys, as can be seen in the photo.

The Communities key lets you quickly connect with friends. The full-size QWERTY keyboard looks the same as the Nokia 71. It has 37 keys, they are comfortable and responsive. This makes the typing experience clear and enjoyable.

The 2-megapixel camera on the back of the phone does not have a flash or autofocus. Next to it, on the right, is a small speaker marked with a “grid”. The battery cover is made of a metal alloy, giving the phone a certain level of solidity. The back cover can be removed by pressing the clips on the sides of the phone. On the left side of the phone there is a microSD memory card slot and a microUSB port. Both of these slots are closed in the classic way - with small plastic strips. At the same time, they are quite difficult to open, but relatively easy to break.

There are no keys on the right side of the phone, which means users must use the D-pad to adjust the volume while talking or listening to music through the player. There is also nothing on the bottom end, and the headphone jack (standard 3.5 mm) and the charging port are located on the top end of the device.

Overall, this phone feels well put together, it's compact, stylish and very elegant. If you like it, but for a number of reasons you can’t afford it, then the Nokia C3 will definitely be best choice, in the event that you do not need a smartphone.

Display and camera

The C3 has a small 2.4-inch LCD display with support for 262 million colors and a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The screen size, as well as the image quality, correspond to those of the E series. The colors and contrast of the images are simply excellent, and with good brightness even in sunlight, we get a screen that can satisfy all user requirements.

The 2 megapixel camera has only a few basic functions and settings; there is no autofocus or flash. Maybe the camera is one of the weaknesses devices, but in the end this model is not positioned as a “camera phone”.

The camera interface does not have anything new and in this sense remains quite simple. Images are previewed in full screen mode. The user can change the white balance (automatic, sunny, incandescent, fluorescent) and Color tone(plain, sepia, black and white, negative). The changes will not affect the photos in a positive way, since the quality of the camera module is too low. As you can see from the photos below, there is significant noise and there is little detail in the photo.

Nokia C3, in general, is unfairly equipped with such a weak camera, but if you do not have special requirements for this part of the phone, then it will not cause any problems. The maximum resolution that can be used for shooting is 1600x1200 pixels, and maximum resolution for viewing 320x240 pixel movies (at 20 frames per second).

Menu and software

Nokia C3 runs S40 6th Edition interface and it is the newest one user interface from Nokia. As the most user-friendly on the market overall, the S40 is stable and provides a good experience. However, there are some new tricks and changes that will give the experience on another level. Thus, the icons in the menu were changed, and the 3D animation was removed.

The proprietary firmware includes Flash player Lite 3 and MMS 1.3. Message support has been improved to allow attachments up to 600KB in size. Improved support for WMA and WMV codecs. The phone has several useful programs such as search, alarm, calendar, to-do list, notes, calculator, countdown timer, world clock and stopwatch.

The menu is fully customizable and you can assign any MP3, MIDI or AAC file as a ringtone. Up to 2000 contacts can be stored in a contact list, and each contact can have up to 5 different telephone numbers. Fonts can also be customized, but only those that appear when you open Contacts, Web Browser, and Messages.

We also noticed a new category in the main menu – Communities. Users can sign in and set up their Twitter and Facebook accounts and use chat on both services simultaneously. The file manager, which was usually located in the Photos section, has now been moved to the Applications / Gallery section. The standard Nokia browser has been replaced by another one - MiniOpera for faster loading of web pages.

Some games written in Java are also preinstalled - Blockd, Bounce Tales, and Sudoku. The phone is compatible with Java MIDP 2.1 applications, but there is a limit on the size of installed programs, usually 1 MB. And it will affect most Java-compatible applications.

Communication capabilities

Nokia C3 is fully compatible with GPRS and EDGE Class 32 standards, but is not compatible with 3G networks. Tests show good data performance on the phone (EDGE 179 kbps download and 72 kbps upload), but this can be highly dependent on the phone's location and carrier.

The phone is equipped with Bluetooth 2.1 and microUSB 2.0. Sync with personal computer is possible through its own microUSB port, but recharging through it is not possible.

The device has Opera browser Mini, which replaced the WebKit-based HTML browser. The previous browser rendered pages less accurately than the current browser, but loaded pages faster. You can also say that scrolling has become slow, but at least Flash 3.0 support is in in perfect order. Old HTML browser based on WebKit has not disappeared anywhere, it exists, but is not used to access the Internet.

As for messages, the phone accepts standard text messages, MMS 1.3 (with 600 KB attachments), and email. The message client works with POP3, SMTP and IMAP4 protocols, and also supports more than one email account.

The Community category allows users to log into their Facebook accounts and Twitter and chat with family or friends. Ovi Chat is also a quick messaging service, but it is not very widely used among users.

One of the great things about the phone is definitely that it can communicate with local network via WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g protocol, which will save on the cost of data transfer.

The device supports 4 communication standards (GSM 850 / GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900), but has mediocre GSM signal reception quality. However, the sound is good and loud on both ends, despite the lack of Voice Clarity technology. Unfortunately, the vibration alert is not very pronounced, which can lead to a large number of missed calls if the phone is in the Silent profile.

Processor and memory

The phone is equipped with an ARM11 family processor operating at a frequency of 369 MHz. It does not have multitasking options, so there will be no option to switch the browser to background mode while you read your email. This may sound negative, but you won't have problems with many applications running at the same time.

The phone's memory is 64 MB SDRAM, but only 55 of them are provided for free use by the owner. The memory can be expanded up to 8 GB, as there is a slot for a microSD memory card. The delivery package includes a card with a capacity of 2 Gigabytes.

Multimedia capabilities

The built-in player looks pretty decent and has a good set of functions. Even though it's not marketed as a music phone, the phone has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack complete with wired headphones(WH-102). The music player is compatible with many formats - AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, MP3, WMA and AMR-NB. Its interface hasn't changed, but it's still pretty good for an entry-level phone.

The player has features such as equalizer, stereo widening, repeat and random song selection. The equalizer can be adjusted, or you can apply preset modes– normal, pop, rock, classical and jazz. I was pleasantly surprised by the good sound quality, although we are talking about a device that belongs to the entry-level price segment and is not positioned as “musical”.

The lack of hardware keys for the music player can be compensated bluetooth headphones, since the phone supports the A2DP standard. The small speaker on the back has average sound intensity, but the sound will be muffled if you place the phone on a table. There is also a radio with RDS function, which can replace the player, and you can memorize up to 20 radio stations.

The built-in video player is not worth much attention, since the display is still small, and it recognizes a small number of video codecs (3GP and MP4 formats).

Battery

The BL-5J's rechargeable 1320 mAh lithium-ion battery has an official standby time of 800 hours and about 7 hours of talk time. These values are close to those of E series phones, so we can talk about a high level of autonomy. After a week of testing, this autonomy was impressive, since the need to recharge only occurred twice a week. Not good active user, perhaps, the device will be recharged once a week, which is more than worthy for such a device.

Impression

Nokia C3 is simply the “holy grail” for chat fans or a paradise for texting lovers. Although I am in love with the Nokia E series, my opinion is not biased when I say that the C3 is one of the best low-budget phones in the market. Of course, tastes may differ, but if you want an inexpensive phone with a QWERTY keyboard and Wi-Fi, this is exactly what you want.

What well

Nokia phone The C3 has as a certain basis the features of the E series smartphones, although functionally it is completely different. Since it has a full-size QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi and an excellent battery, we can say that the Nokia C3 has the basic options inherent in the E series. There are other “delights” that can be found in this device: social networking services (Twitter, Facebook ), high-quality music sound, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, microSD memory card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo FM radio with RDS support and an excellent 2.4-inch display. And considering that you can get all this for just 100 euros, this phone is a great buy.

What is wrong

It can be said that possible reason refusal to purchase this phone may be low quality camera module and inability to view documents. Other minor drawbacks include the lack of multitasking, which is very useful if you use several instant messaging services, and the lack of a smart connection feature. In addition, there is no possibility of recharging via a microUSB cable.

Contents of Nokia C3 material:

Later, a series of various 68xx devices appeared, which had a clever folding system, thanks to which the designers were able to create both a full-fledged and quite compact keyboard in acceptable dimensions.

You can’t forget about the large 9-series devices that are convenient for implementing business plans. Looking at the wide range of devices with QWERTY keyboards produced in recent years, you are imbued with respect for a company that was not afraid to experiment with form and content.

There was once an opinion that a wide segment of users did not need QWERTY: a keyboard of this type was quite a feature expensive devices, often such means of communication were also cumbersome, which also did not bring joy to everyone. But as time passed, work continued to create a device with moderate dimensions and a moderately comfortable keyboard.

Expected to go on sale soon three new phones, these are models C3, C6 and E5. In this material we will share with you our impressions of meeting them.

The device is based on the Series 40 platform; for a long time there were no Nokia phones (not smartphones) with a QWERTY keyboard - this segment was given over to “smart” devices, but now the situation has changed radically. The main argument when choosing this phone is the price. The phone is expected to go on sale for RUR 5,000. At the same time, in terms of its characteristics, the model turned out to be very interesting, which will allow you to think about buying one again. available phone, but with wide possibilities.

Design

The dimensions of the C3 are: 115.5 x 58.1 x 13.6 mm, weight 114 grams. The candy bar is made of plastic, and it is different: the front part of the phone is made of glossy material (by the way, it is quite easily soiled), while the back part is made of more practical matte plastic.

The design is not so simple: the front panel has small beveled ends, the edging of the joystick and a pair of additional keys are covered with silver paint.

There is an oval hole at the top of the front panel conversational dynamics, underneath is a 2.4-inch diagonal screen. The key block and keyboard are reminiscent of older devices in style. On the left side of the phone there is a slot for microSD memory cards, next to it there is another – it is used to connect a microUSB cable. On the right, there are no keys, alas, but due to the budget nature of the device, it was deprived of dedicated buttons. To adjust the volume, you must use the joystick for this action.

It’s great that the developers didn’t skimp on the design of the phone: there are buttons on the sides of the phone, by pressing which you can remove the back cover, a similar scheme is used in the E71, but for some reason they simplified it, as a result back panel Doesn't sit as tightly in place.

Under the cover there is a 1320 mAh battery, removing which you can access the SIM card.

It’s nice to see metal in a phone that belongs to such an affordable segment – the removable cover is made of it, and the inside is carefully sealed with a pair of foam pads, which helps to avoid play.

At the bottom of the case there is a strap mount, at the top there is a camera lens and speaker holes.

At the top end there is a hole for connection charger, and a 3.5 mm jack for connecting your favorite headphones.

The phone is expected in three colors: Slate Grey, Hot Pink, Golden White. Although the photo shows a blue sample, it is possible that this modification will also be in service.

Screen

TFT display with a diagonal of 2.4 inches and a resolution of 320x240 pixels shows 262 thousand colors. Its characteristics are similar to those used in E71, E63 and other devices: bright picture with good viewing angles.

Keyboard

Next to the navigation key there are not only the usual buttons for answering and rejecting calls, as well as function keys, but the phone also has a pair additional buttons, becoming even more similar to their elders model range brothers: left button is responsible for fast access to contacts, the right one allows you to start a correspondence. It's a pity, but these keys cannot be reassigned to other functions.

The key block is comfortable, the presses are soft and pleasant. The device was not localized for the Cyrillic alphabet, but judging by the similar layout of foreign E71s, it can be assumed that the C3 will also use engraving based on a similar principle.

Menu

The phone is based on the 6th version of Series 40. Distinctive feature are large, easily readable features: when buying a phone for a child, you don’t have to be afraid that he will have vision problems due to small characters. It’s convenient that when you first start the phone, a special interface setup wizard is launched, which helps you quickly adapt the phone to your needs.

By virtue of horizontal orientation The screen interface has been redesigned to make it more convenient to work with the phone, it greets the user with a menu with 12 icons, which can be displayed as a list, the ability to adapt the phone is equivalent to other devices on this platform, for example.

Media

Designed for an audience of young users, modern phone unthinkable without a connector that allows you to use quality headphones, which means the 3.5 mm hole in C3 is just in place. A conveniently located flash memory slot is located on the side, allowing you to hot-swap the card without having to turn off the phone. Radio lovers are not forgotten either - the phone also supports this popular function.

The camera is simple, 2 megapixel, without flash and autofocus.

The user has access to 55 megabytes of phone memory, and support for memory cards up to 8 GB is announced.

Connections

The phone operates in the EGSM 850\900\1800\1900 bands. There is Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and USB 2.0.

A distinctive feature of this model is the presence of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. The ability to use a home hotspot or free public hotspots will undoubtedly appeal to users, and for the first time, perhaps, Wi-Fi has become available in a device in this price range.

Thanks to capacious battery The operating time can be up to 8 hours in talk mode and up to 500 hours in standby mode, and up to 30 hours of operation in player mode are also stated.

Conclusion

The model turned out to be very pleasant and interesting: a rich set of media and entertainment functions ( comfortable keyboard, 3.5 mm jack, quick access to a memory card, Wi-Fi), a fast interface, clear and convenient, coupled with good quality the assemblies will make the phone very, very popular, just look at the price tag and the list of device capabilities.

Nokia E5 is a rank higher. If the E63, which appeared a couple of years ago, became a fairly inexpensive alternative to the E71, now it has also been replaced in the form of a new device.

Design

Externally, the phone resembles another device - the hero of our recent review. And all thanks to the large shiny plate under the screen, which combines a block of control keys. This is where the stylistic similarity ends, and then there are associations with its QWERTY counterparts.

Dimensions 115 x 58.9 x 12.8 mm almost exactly repeat the dimensions of the E63 (113 x 59 x 13 mm), and the weight is generally identical and equal to 126 grams.

The main material from which the smartphone is made is plastic. In the E63 it was soft-touch, more pleasant than in this device.

At the top, one after the other, there is a hole for a 2 mm charger, a 3.5 mm connector and a slot for a microUSB cable covered with a plug.

There is a volume rocker on the right side of the phone.

Removal design back cover similar to E71: on both sides of the smartphone there is a button, when pressed, the back panel snaps off.

In E5 it is metal, it is held in the fastenings very tightly, without play. But the photographs show that, like the C5, it is quite delicate and minor scratches and abrasions may appear.

On the back there is a 5-megapixel camera lens and a flash that can also work as a flashlight.

There are many color options, as many as 5 pieces: Carbon Black, Chalk White, Copper Brown, Silver Gray, Sky Blue.

Screen

A display with a diagonal of 2.36 inches is used, the resolution is the same 240x320 pixels, 256 thousand colors are displayed, and there is a light sensor. According to subjective feelings, the screen is not as bright as in the E71 (in which it is similar to that used in the E63 and shows up to 16 million colors), or is this a specific sample.

Keyboard

The soft key block has lost a couple of buttons, there is no longer a quick call to contacts and a calendar (these applications were assigned by default, they could be reassigned to other functions), only a reassignable mail button remains.

In my own way appearance the layout, as in the case of the C3, is similar to the E71, so we can only count on a similar concept. The buttons themselves are similar to those found in the E63, so it’s difficult to say anything special about them: those who are satisfied with the keyboard in it will not be disappointed by the C6.

Platform

The smartphone is based on Symbian 9.3 Feature Pack 2, like all devices of a similar level, it works quickly and understands, the speed advantages compared to the previous generation (E63\E71) are noticeable, especially if you disable animation effects in themes.

The user has access to 256 MB of memory; a 2 GB card will be included, while the device itself works with cards up to 32 GB.

Connections

Works in 850/900/1800/1900 networks, and also supports 3G, HSDPA up to 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA up to 2 Mbps.

E5 has Bluetooth 2.0 with support for A2DP and AVRCP, and Wi-Fi is also present.

Media

A 3.5 mm jack is no longer uncommon; Nokia puts it in most of its new devices, and it is present here too. In addition to listening to the player, the radio will also help pass the time.

The camera is 5-megapixel, it does not have autofocus, video is recorded in a resolution of 640x480 at a speed of 15 frames per second.

A-GPS appeared, which was absent in the E63. Again, thanks to free Nokia maps, preinstalled in the device, you will not have to pay for navigation.

Working hours

It uses a different battery, it has a smaller capacity (1200 versus 1500 mAh in the E63), but the operating time is significantly longer: up to 18.5 hours of talk time, up to 705 hours in standby mode, 38 hours in player mode. For comparison, the numbers for E63 are: 11 hours of talk time, 430 hours of standby time, 18 hours of music playback.

Apparently, serious work has been done on optimization and energy consumption, which has made it possible to obtain such a noticeable increase in life expectancy.

Conclusion

In general, the impressions are mixed: on the one hand, the phone is new platform, “long-lasting”, but on the other hand, the design of the device is quite modest, the E63 looks prettier to me, although I should wait for other colors, perhaps they will be prettier. It's a pity, but we have to note a decrease in the number function keys, although the operating time has increased. The expected price for this smartphone is 9 thousand rubles. Until the E63 and E71 disappear from sale, it will not be easy for the new product: the E71 costs a couple of thousand more, but it is tactilely more pleasant, and even though it does not have a 3.5 mm jack, it does not work for as long, and its software is older, but that is all its shortcomings end: you just need to pick up E71 and E5, and the choice is determined. And E63 costs about 6.5-7 thousand rubles. and will be the choice of a pragmatic person who needs a QWERTY smartphone at the most affordable price. When both of these devices disappear from sale, and only the E72 remains, then you won’t have to choose and the E5 will take its place inexpensive smartphone with a full-fledged keyboard it’s already more thorough.

Design

The smartphone is a side slider, a kind of analog or - as you prefer. In terms of price, it will occupy a position between these two devices, with a cost of around 12,000 rubles. it will be a little more expensive than the 5800, which has been in service for a year and a half, or much cheaper than the N97 mini, which has a different keyboard, a metal back, and a large amount of built-in memory. The positioning is clear: the product is for those who need a push-button QWERTY keyboard, but don’t want to pay extra money for the 97 mini.

Dimensions 113x53x16.8 mm, weight 150 grams. Despite the fact that the phone is made of plastic, it turned out to be heavier than the “small” 97 – it is 12 grams lighter, and even thinner by 2.6 mm.

The front panel almost completely copies the popular 5800; in the upper part there is a slot for the earpiece, next to it is a camera for video calls and a light sensor. At the bottom there are a pair of buttons for accepting and rejecting calls, between them there is a “Menu” key, which has a built-in indicator that signals missed events.

There is a volume rocker on the right side, with a convenient phone lock lever underneath it. On the same side there is also a camera launch button. On the opposite side there is a slot for memory cards.

Turning the phone over reveals the camera lens and flash, as well as the speaker located below.

The material used is rubberized plastic, pleasant and practical. The front panel is glossy, fingerprints are clearly visible on it, and it is quite easily soiled.

At the bottom there is a strap mount, as well as a connector for the charger. It’s convenient that the connector lights up when connected to an outlet, thanks to the glow-in-the-dark ring around the pin plugged into the phone.

There is a metallic edging along the bottom half of the phone – a nice touch. Rear end The top of the device is covered with a metal plate.

The assembly would have been ideal if there had not been a slight lateral play, noticeable when the smartphone was folded. The same N97 mini is simply assembled monolithically; I would like to see a comparable level of manufacturing in the C6.

The phone opens vertically (not like in the N97, where a corner was formed), this action is accompanied by a pleasant click.

A pair of familiar colors will be available: black and white.

Screen

Diagonal 3.2 inches, resolution 640 x 360 pixels, shows up to 16 million colors. The resistive display is comparable in picture quality to its counterpart in the N97 mini; it is bright and the colors are vibrant. I liked the response to clicks, the general reaction: the wishes of users were taken into account, kinetic scrolling works great both in the player and in the gallery, contacts and other applications. There is a light sensor and an accelerometer.

Keyboard

The four rows of keys are complemented by a large, comfortable joystick button on the right side. The keys themselves are divided into blocks of 6 and 4 buttons on a line on each side. The examples in the photographs show the prepared version localized for Russia. The symbols are clearly visible, the buttons are large and convex, with a small gap between them. In my opinion, typing is very convenient and enjoyable. The key block reminded me of something.

Platform

The smartphone runs S60 5th edition and is equipped with Symbian OS 9.4.

The amount of free memory is 200 MB, microSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 16 GB are supported, a 2 GB card will be included.
The device operates in the EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 bands.

Supports HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0, work in Wi-Fi networks.

Media

The camera is five megapixel, with autofocus and flash, maximum video recording quality is 640 x 360.

A 3.5 mm mini-jack allows you to connect any headphones to your smartphone, and there is a radio.

There is built-in A-GPS, as well as Ovi maps with free lifetime navigation.

Working hours

A 1200 mAh battery is used, up to 420 minutes of talk time, up to 400 hours of standby time, 6 hours of video playback, 30 hours of playback in player mode.

Conclusion

The C6 turned out to be a functional, but somewhat modestly designed device. Perhaps this was done on purpose so as not to create unnecessary competition for the more stylish N97 mini. In other aspects, the phone turned out to be pleasant and convenient, although the size, or rather the weight, can be confusing. The phone will be a good addition to the current lineup, filling the gap between the N97 mini and 5800.

Final for three

In general terms, we outlined three new models that belong to different segments, but they have one common feature - the presence of a QWERTY keyboard. Nokia is steadily introducing new devices to the market, offering customers of different incomes the opportunity to try out a convenient and practical keyboard (naturally, this type of device will be chosen by those who actively text SMS, use ICQ messengers, and use social networks or leads another kind of active life associated with regular typing).

If a few years ago QWERTY was the lot of only a very narrow segment, devices were limited in their capabilities (often specifically to emphasize that they were “not for everyone”), now the situation has become the opposite: Nokia is more actively offering customers phones with a full-fledged keyboard of all kinds , which have absorbed the time-tested features of the E-series and a high multimedia component.

Mobile phones with touch controls are becoming a worthy replacement for push-button models. This has been happening since 2013. Currently, it is almost impossible to find a smartphone with a push-button keyboard on the shelves of modern stores. Despite this, some smartphones still have a slide-out keyboard, and this fact indicates that not every company is interested only in touch displays.

LG Enact

LG primarily focuses on touch smartphones. Despite this, push-button model you can still find it successfully. Moreover, the device successfully operates on the Android operating system. Maybe this particular device will please people who do not strive to actively and successfully understand modern trends.

LG Enact pleases with ease of control, but at the same time the functionality matches its sophisticated brothers. Additional advantages include a very powerful and decent battery.

Of course, there will be disadvantages. For example, a smartphone has a small display (the diagonal is only 4 inches), but even such dimensions do not lead to refusal of the purchase.

Technical data:

In fact specifications are at an average level and suggest a practical approach to a mobile phone. The cost is $350.

Nokia C6

Nokia C6 has gained real interest. The smartphone is ideal for fans of an active lifestyle who still gravitate towards a qwerty keyboard. The mobile phone runs the fifth version of the Symbian S60 operating system, which, fortunately, is characterized by maximum convenience.

The smartphone has 4 rows of keys that represent almost all letters of the Cyrillic alphabet. The exceptions were two letters - X, B. On the right side of the keyboard there is navigation system, successfully replacing arrows. Among the advantages of buttons are their large size and convex shape. BlackBerry offers a unique smartphone with a slide-out keyboard called Venice. This model features a 5.1-inch curved screen. Technical data and functionality please:

  • An 8-core processor that successfully performs almost any task;
  • 16-megapixel camera that allows you to create high-quality images;

BlackBerry Passport

This smartphone is popular among businessmen and executives. It should be noted that it turned out to be one of the fastest, best and most functional among models with a sliding keyboard.

The smartphone initially looks expensive and prestigious, which evokes only the best impressions. Moreover, many people will appreciate the ability to control in two ways: touch screen and slide-out keyboard. However, the smartphone is offered without the Cyrillic alphabet, which turns out to be an atypical drawback. To communicate successfully, you have to regularly use a transliterated to Russian translator or double buttons, which actually complicates the process of typing any text. If you use the keyboard for navigation, you can control your smartphone with ease, because the buttons are even adapted for copying, pasting, and highlighting different texts.

Despite the high cost (about 43,000 rubles), BlackBerry Passport is ready to please with its versatility. All functions are brought to near perfection, which, without a doubt, leaves the best impression.

Despite the fact that smartphones with push-button keyboards are becoming a thing of the past, similar models can still be found on the market. The most important thing is to carefully study all the offers and understand which option is best to choose the right one, since only in this case can you be completely satisfied with the purchase.
