Where to buy zte blade x3. ZTE Blade X3 reviews

Considered ZTE Blade X3 is a representative of budget smartphones. In modern mobile phone everything should be fine. What characteristics does it show us? this phone? The screen diagonal is 5 inches and the resolution is 1280*720. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 OS and has the ability to install two SIM cards. As for memory - internal storage has a volume of only 8 GB, and the volume random access memory is 1 GB - these are fairly average figures at the present time, but the price at which this device sold on the market, fully justifies this decision. The heart of the device is a 4-core MediaTek. The main camera is represented by a module with a resolution of 8 megapixels, and the front one is 5 megapixels.

The design of the smartphone is quite classic and pleasant in appearance. Besides touch screen, it is controlled by three touch buttons who have LED backlight, and when pressed, the phone responds with a vibration signal. It is also possible to customize them.

The rear panel of the phone houses the main camera module, LED flash and speaker. On the top edge there is a standard headphone jack, on the bottom there is a microUSB interface for charging the battery and transferring data, and on the right side there is a power/lock button and a volume rocker.

The back panel of the phone is removable. On the one hand, this is even better, because... There is quick access to the inside of the device, but you should not remove it too often, otherwise it may become unusable. Most of the space under the hood is occupied by a 4000 mAh capacity, which is not often found in cheap smartphones. If we compare it with other representatives of this class, the Blade X3 will be a clear leader in this indicator. Also in this area are the SIM card slot and additional cards memory.

The delivery set includes a USB cable, a microUSB-OTG cable and a power supply. The OTG cable is a rather unexpected piece of equipment that allows you to connect USB drives to the device. During the review, this feature was tested and proved to be successful. the best side. Also, using an OTG cable, the smartphone itself can be used as external battery for some other device.

The display resolution is 1280*720, which is quite enough for a 5-inch screen of a budget version of a smartphone. The screen brightness is sufficient for the image to be clearly visible in any weather conditions, as user reviews also say. The screen is covered with a special protective glass, which can save the matrix from damage when dropped.

There is no third-party firmware installed on the smartphone; there is only a launcher that can slightly diversify the standard Android 5.1 interface. Computing capabilities are provided by MediaTek MT6735 with 4 cores. The Mali-T720 video accelerator is responsible for the graphics. When exposed to loads, the phone heats up, but within normal limits. In the Antutu performance test, the phone averaged about 19,000 points.

I drove it for a month in secret from my wife. The phone is good, a solid four. In my opinion, it doesn’t reach the top five due to the weak camera and small bugs with the firmware. I installed everything I needed from the market in advance. There were no freezes or slowdowns. There are no problems with Wi-Fi, GPRS, or GPS...

Flaws:- The SIM cards had to be cut. And this is not good, because... V old phone(if anything) you can’t put them in without an adapter! - Non-removable battery. - Scarcity of basic melodies for calls and SMS. VERY ugly, just a disaster... On other phones you could at least select something and install it. HERE - only external melodies... - Finding a case is a problem. I'll look in China. Universal ones are also not Ice! - The sound from the external speaker is very mediocre! Probably commensurate with the price... - It would be more correct to classify the camera as a shortcoming. I don't even believe in 8 pixels. Smells like an approximation! Firms of the third and second echelons should install good matrices and at least 13 REAL megapixels with decent lenses. This is necessary to infringe on first-tier firms! - On our phone, the display of information about processes in sleep mode does not work correctly. The Wi-Fi switch is almost always on, although they don’t use it + there are a few more jambs with the firmware that I don’t want to discuss HERE. But this does not affect work in any way. The phone works for an honest 3 days. We don't play with toys.

Advantages:+ Bought for my wife for the New Year 2016. I tested it in secret in December... + Despite the fact that I don’t recognize gold in any form, this device looks VERY interesting! For me, gilding is more interesting than white or black. + High-quality display. + Keeps honest for 3 days... + Good display response. The 5th Android itself is interesting and more advanced than the four. + Affordable. December 2015: 7990 wooden. They say you can find it for 6800 rubles. + The battery seems to be 4A... But there have already been refutations from crazy people, like it actually costs less capacity, and the figure 4000 is a marketing ploy. + 4G, but only on the 1st SIM card. + It’s good that the second SIM card is not inserted into the flash drive compartment instead of itself. Hooray! + MicroSDHS at 32 Giga works flawlessly. I didn’t buy the larger ones, 64 or 128.

Overall, rather dissatisfied. But you shouldn’t expect anything more from a $120 phone. I can safely recommend it as a dialer, but it is not suitable for full-fledged work as a wearable computer. Cases, glasses and films can be found, but on Aliexpress upon request zte q519t.

Flaws: The cameras, even in normal lighting, do not film the fountain. Applications stutter or freeze for a few seconds upon launch. Usually the entire RAM is clogged, the situation is aggravated by a bunch of unnecessary software and a cleaner (I deleted it, so I don’t remember what it’s called correctly). It installs its applications without notification and launches them whenever it wants. When listening to music and launching applications or unlocking, the music is interrupted for a few seconds. Happens many times and is annoying. After a reboot, the added shortcuts disappear from the bottom application bar. It cannot display only contacts from a SIM card or other source; if you select this option, it does not show anything. When installing two working SIM cards, the phone book also does not show up. The wheezing sound of the external speaker, the dull sound of the conversational speaker. When launching applications, it may show a black screen for a long time. Back cover It is very easily soiled and leaves a lot of fingerprints. Most of the pre-installed software crashes, including the standard launcher. The default SIM card selection also works in the wrong place, even if you configure it in the SIM settings and disable the second SIM card, it still shows the SIM selection in notifications. Applications are always in background, so you can receive a notification from gmail even if you don’t use it (the process was previously deleted)

Advantages: At normal operation(wifi all day, contact, connection in 2g mode, one SIM card, 2 hours of music, about an hour of games) lasts 3 days. More active use, 3g internet all day, more games and music for 2 days. Excellent bright display, I usually use it at 1/5 brightness. Feels good in the hand (subjectively), a little heavier asus zenfone go. Ability to change the layout of control buttons (menu, home, back) Wifi works great, quantity visible networks like on a laptop. For comparison, philips and highscreen see half as much. GPS reception is excellent, quickly finds satellites, I haven’t checked how many exactly.

I bought the phone for 8.100
After Highscreen Zera S rev. S it was just a great transition. I thought I was changing the awl for soap, but I needed it new phone and right at this moment. Stopped at here. Lured 4g. There was only gold, at first it was wildly infuriating, then I got used to it.
I came home and removed the stock launcher. He's terrible. I installed Nova Launcher and the phone became extremely pleasant to use. Very quiet external speaker. Sometimes there are “freezes” so strong that you want to smash the phone on the asphalt, but as soon as everything passes, pleasant usability is again. In the stock firmware, Bluetooth works strangely and sometimes the screen orientation feels strange. Recently gapps broke. I plan to flash it.
I can rate the phone 4 stars. The battery also drains a lot of 4G, which works great even on the train.
The battery is great, all phones have it. Pokemon at maximum screen brightness + GPS (which also works very well) works stably for 6-7 hours.
For its price, it is an excellent choice in the b-phone line.

P.S. Charges quickly only from the original adapter. Apparently due to the fact that it has 5 amperes.

Flaws: 1. Stock launcher
2. Stock firmware
3. Quiet speaker
4. The covering around the headphone jack is peeling off
5. Camera

Advantages: 1. Nice appearance
2. 4g (Checked in Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, MSK, Saratov)
3. The battery lasts a long time (two days in active mode)
4. Very nice screen
5. Price

I actively use my phone, almost 20 hours a day. In general, I would have been fine with everything if it weren’t for this damn memory.

Flaws: There is one huge minus - memory. With a declared memory of 8 gigs, a good half is occupied system files, which cannot be deleted. An additional flash drive does not help, because... even with the command set to save everything to the card, everything is downloaded to the phone, and then it is offered to transfer installed file to a flash drive, respectively, the memory is endlessly full, which is why the phone freezes endlessly.
Built-in battery - if everything freezes, we wait... We wait for a long time
And one more minus that has been there since the moment of purchase - contacts fly off, you have to reboot and wait so that notebook at least something appeared.

Advantages: I've been using it for a year. It fell endlessly, even cracked the screen, but this did not affect the ability to work. The battery is good.

Use experience: less than a month

Guys, if you want to increase the degree of your irritability in everyday life, then this phone is for you))) I don’t know how many times I caught myself thinking about just smashing it against the wall. and the most interesting thing is that it started hanging from the first days it was given to me))) in general, in the end I will have to change it to something else, because the nervous system is more expensive)

Flaws: slows down, overheats, freezes, just a disaster =(

Advantages: well... I don't know, to be honest. smartphone like a smartphone

At first I really liked this phone. Well made, a little heavy
Then it started to glitch. As a result, I had to learn the basics of firmware for Chinese androids (I messed around with it for 5 hours straight, not knowing how to do it!). After an exciting night full of bootloops, I actually wanted to smash it against the wall, but in the end I managed to install at least some firmware on which it somehow works, it seems even more or less normal :)
As a result, I started looking at other phones with a large battery and...
After reading the reviews, I realized that this one is the best :)
Just don’t count too much on the store’s warranty; most likely, it will pester you with the imperfections of its firmware much earlier, and you will lose this warranty.

Flaws: The “software” part is bad :(
Does not sleep if some application tries to use the red LED (solution - see 4pda)
On firmware B03 - periodic graphic artifacts, such as black bars, blue-green dots, sometimes the halves of the screen change places (solution - see 4pda). Someone above couldn't find a solution

After six months of use it started to slow down, a factory reset helped.
The sensor on charging is so dull that it is very difficult to use, fortunately this phone does not spend very much time on charging.

A little big, you can't really use it with one hand. The “metal” edging annoys me, they usually peel off and look sloppy, but the cover saves the day

Advantages: Nice looking (okay, they're all the same anyway), big battery that can last for days, fresh android, great job GPS. A very convenient thing is OTG. Fast internet 4g.
The body is relatively non-slip and feels good in the hand. The “hardware” part is excellent.

Experience of use: several months

Good device. Gta San Andreas is going well, I forgot to add that too.

Flaws:- I had two such devices, the first one had a terrible glitch with the sound from the speaker - it was terribly quiet. There were no such problems with the second one. Check this point carefully when purchasing, turn on a video from YouTube and listen closely.
- Battery with 3g/4g on. My charge was melting right before my eyes in standby mode.
- After 5 months of use, the first one began to slow down for me. Oh, how annoying it was, so I sold it. This didn’t happen with the second one, but I only used it for a month.

Advantages:- Battery when Wi-Fi is on. Battery consumption when watching videos on YouTube is 9 percent per hour.
- I liked the camera, I shot a lot of things with it a year ago.

Use experience: more than a year

Very positive impressions, especially from the battery, GPS finds quickly, charges in about 2 hours, a decent device for the money

Flaws: pictures from the camera with loud noise, the speaker wheezes at maximum, so 4 out of 5

Advantages: battery, size, price-quality

Experience of use: several months 3) TERRIBLE MELODIES IN THE ALARM CLOCK. There's simply nothing worse. The battery is not removable, but 4000 mA. Screen brightness is more than excellent.
Phone memory 8 gigs. of which 3.5GB are free.
If you update the built-in programs that (without root rights) cannot be transferred, the memory will become slightly less. Also, if you download applications from the market, they are all installed by default on internal memory phone. Despite the fact that the settings say “default installation on SD card”. After installation, you need to transfer the applications to the SD card yourself in the settings. And as we all know, not all applications are transferred to the SD card (depending on the developer). Conclusion: install at least a 128 GB SD card, you will fill it with photos and music.
I’ll summarize the bottom line from technical support: We tested everything and it worked.
ADF. VERY BAD PHONE! As I said, the limit has been reached on the phone and there are 23 gigs of free space on the card.

Flaws: Mifavor launcher is very buggy. I switched to regular Google.
Unclear situation with memory and applications. Communication with technical support.

Advantages: I liked the battery, the screen is very good, the presence of 4G.

Use experience: more than a year

Accelerometer(or G-sensor) - sensor of the device’s position in space. As a main function, the accelerometer is used to automatically change the orientation of the image on the display (vertical or horizontal). Also, the G-sensor is used as a pedometer; it can control various functions of the device by turning or shaking.
Gyroscope- a sensor that measures rotation angles relative to a fixed coordinate system. Capable of measuring rotation angles in several planes simultaneously. A gyroscope together with an accelerometer allows you to accurately determine the position of the device in space. Devices that use only accelerometers have lower measurement accuracy, especially when moving quickly. Also, the capabilities of the gyroscope can be used in modern games for mobile devices.
Light sensor- a sensor that sets the optimal brightness and contrast values for a given light level. The presence of a sensor allows you to increase the battery life of the device.
Proximity sensor- a sensor that detects when the device is close to your face during a call, turns off the backlight and locks the screen, preventing accidental clicks. The presence of a sensor allows you to increase the battery life of the device.
Geomagnetic sensor- a sensor for determining the direction of the world in which the device is directed. Tracks the orientation of the device in space relative to the magnetic poles of the Earth. The information received from the sensor is used in mapping programs for terrain orientation.
Atmospheric pressure sensor- sensor for precise measurement of atmospheric pressure. It is part of the GPS system, allows you to determine altitude above sea level and speed up location determination.
Touch ID- fingerprint identification sensor.

Satellite navigation:

GPS(Global Positioning System - global system positioning) - satellite system navigation, providing measurement of distance, time, speed and determining the location of objects anywhere on Earth. The system is developed, implemented and operated by the US Department of Defense. The basic principle of using the system is to determine location by measuring distances to an object from points with known coordinates - satellites. The distance is calculated by the delay time of signal propagation from sending it by the satellite to receiving it by the antenna of the GPS receiver.
GLONASS(Global Navigation Satellite System) - Soviet and Russian satellite navigation system, developed by order of the USSR Ministry of Defense. The measurement principle is similar to the American system GPS navigation. GLONASS is designed for operational navigation and timing support for land, sea, air and space-based users. The main difference from the GPS system is that GLONASS satellites in their orbital motion do not have resonance (synchrony) with the rotation of the Earth, which provides them with greater stability.

Appearance, materials, control elements, assembly

Externally, the Blade X3 looks like a typical budget smartphone without any eye-catching features, the only thing worth highlighting is the unusually designed bottom panel with a touch ring, but more on that a little later.

The user can choose one of three versions of the device: gold, white or black. Pay attention to the official photos of the device; in the photo with the white model, the frames were specially reduced; it certainly looks funny.

The back cover is made of matte smooth plastic; fingerprints easily remain on it (although it is, of course, not as easily soiled as gloss or glass), but they can also be easily removed with any microfiber cloth.

Let's go through the control elements:

Front camera and indicator light

Touchpad: Back, Home and Menu buttons

Right end. Power button and volume rocker. The keys have a short, hard press, they protrude strongly, and are comfortable to use

Top end. 3.5 mm headphone jack

microUSB port and microphone hole

To remove the cover you need to pry it off the microUSB port. Two slots for microSIM cards are hidden under it, one of them is combined with a slot for a microSD card

I didn’t really like the touchpad, because in the dark you have to feel it for the backlight to turn on. By the way, if you wish, you can swap the actions for the right and left buttons.

The main speaker has an average volume headroom, but good quality; at maximum volume it does not wheeze. In terms of assembly, there are no complaints about the device.

Dimensions

I should note that despite the impressive battery capacity, the ZTE Blade X3 does not feel like a bulky smartphone in your hand. Yes, it is weighty and not as thin as the company’s flagships, but all this is within reasonable limits. The device is almost as comfortable to hold in the hand as the iPhone 6, adjusted for its slightly greater width and weight.

Compared to Apple iPhone 6

Screen

HD resolution is increasingly appearing in the segment under 10,000 rubles, and this fact makes me very, very happy. If we talk specifically about the display in the Blade X3, then it has good viewing angles, a good brightness range, mediocre behavior in the sun and no oleophobic coating. That is, this is a typical average, but for the money the screen is quite good.

operating system

The device operates under Android control 5.1 s branded shell MiFavour. It seemed to me that specifically in X3 the version of the shell was greatly cut down, so all the elements look the same as on stock Android, the only exception is the launcher with rounded icons. To be honest, I like that you can install another launcher and actually get a device on pure Android with a couple of features from ZTE like Russian letters in the dialer, for example.

Performance

The updated version of the good old MT6735 with the “P” index is responsible for performance. Its power is enough for most everyday tasks and simple casual toys. Higher performance games like Asphalt 8 will also run, but at medium settings.

Autonomous operation

In fact, the battery in this model is removable, but in my sample it was covered with a warranty sticker, so apparently the manufacturer does not recommend replacing it yourself.

As for the operating time, the impressive capacity allows the Blade X3 to work for a couple of days with an average activity of two hours on the screen (Twitter, mail, browser, instant messengers - all this on mobile internet). The device also showed excellent results in our tests.

Camera

The camera takes average pictures. You can take normal shots in sunny weather, but under artificial lighting noise and pixelation appear. The front camera, despite high resolution, also not impressed.

Wireless interfaces

The smartphone is inexpensive, so no NFC or newfangled Wi-Fi standards there is no. But there is support for two SIM cards and fast MediaTek chipsets GPS cold start.

Conclusion

I had no complaints about the quality of speech transmission: you and your interlocutor can hear each other perfectly.

At retail, ZTE Blade X3 costs 9,000 rubles. For this money you get a smartphone with capacious battery and a good display. Among the shortcomings, I can only highlight the mediocre camera and 1 GB of RAM. And the lack of oleophobic coating, of course. In my opinion, ZTE has come out with a good budget smartphone, because they didn’t skimp on key parameters (speed and operating time, screen quality). If you need an inexpensive device with HD resolution, then be sure to pay attention to this model.

Of the direct competitors for this money, there are only Xiaomi Redmi 3, however, it is wrong to compare it with the Blade X3, because Xiaomi will be purchased by those who are willing to wait two or three weeks for the device and more or less know the brand, while ZTE can be purchased at most retail stores.
