*Fixed hacking of the robot in stealth mode, animation playback is now enabled in stealth mode.
*Added new slots - 59 (shield) and 51 (ring). In order to add new slots to work with, you will need a clean save.
*Removed the screen glow from "the pipboy flashlight" (the old stuff somehow got mixed up with the new stuff... again).
*Some changes due to sleeve invisibility in 3rd person view. The radiation counter and radio tuner will not work again. Zoom, sound synchronization and compatibility with “shower” and “see you sleep” remain as in the mods.
*Materials have been corrected (old things have been linked to some new material).
*Removed the screen glow effect from "the pipboy flashlight".

*Synchronized animation sound from disk.
*Fixed the radio tuning button (not turning) and the radiation meter (not working) when the Pip Pad is switched to another slot.
* You need to delete the previous version using the disk, save and exit the game.
* Install version 0.3 C, load the save and use the installation cassette (if for some reason you don’t have it, then create it in the chemical station under the “Service” tab).

* Light fixes in vanilla light in "pipboy flashlight", if glitches still appear, just turn on/off the light to fix it
* Fixed screen being visible under certain lighting conditions

* Still no Fov fix, you could try installing it using Bilago's ini tool while I make new animations for scaling.
- If you have problems with other mods such as "TNR flashlight" or "Tactical lights", you can use the cassette to switch to another slot ( explanatory note included in the holotape).
- Hacking robots, playing tapes and opening doors has been fixed.
- Luminous ring and White screen around GG's wrist fixed.

If your game crashes at startup

For some users, Fallout 4 crashes when starting the game. This can be fixed by running the game in borderless windowed mode. You need to do the following:

Prefs.ini file in documents/users/mygames/fallout4 and in steamapps/common/fallout4
Set the following values (the resolution is what you need):

BMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920
Unlocking FPS

For some, the maximum number of frames per second is 30, for some - 60. Below are instructions on how to unlock FPS. Attention: it is not recommended to unlock it above 60, as bugs were observed in Skyrim (flying animals, etc.)

Open Fallout4Pref.ini (located in C:\Users\[name]\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\. A backup is not necessary - if you delete Fallout4Pref.ini, the game will automatically create one the next time you launch it .

Find the line iPresentInterval=1 and change it to iPresentInterval=0

It looks like mouse acceleration is the default setting in Fallout 4. To turn it off, we need to do the same thing we did in Skyrim. Open Fallout4.ini C:\Users\[name]\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\

In the section, add a new line:
bMouseAcceleration=0

Attention: acceleration will not be removed from various menus, but will be disabled “inside” the game.
How to disable the intro when loading a game:

Solution 1:
To skip the intro every time you load Fallout 4, go to Steam folder where you have the game installed steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\Video and delete the following file:

Solution 2:
First, go to C:\Users\[name]\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\ and open Fallout4.ini. In the section add SIntroSequence=1

Then, in the same folder, open Fallout4Prefs.ini and again add SIntroSequence=1 in the section.

You should now have the intro video disabled. Bug with an invisible master key

If you have a bug with an invisible master key, the solution is quite simple, open Fallout4Prefs.ini in the folder (C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\) and change below:

ISize W=XXXX
iSize H=YYYY
on
iSize W=XXXX-1
iSize H=YYYY-1

Eg:
For example:
iSize W=1920
iSize H=1080
will be replaced by
iSize W=1919
iSize H= 1079

Then do the same for Fallout4Prefs.ini, which is located in your Fallout folder 4 on Steam - steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout 4.

This bug is quite common if you unlock FPS and don't enable Vsync. Thanks to user Vhailor for helping with the bug.
How to change fov.

Unlike Skyrim, Fallout 4 requires little more action. Change required to 3 different files, 2 of them are Fallout4Prefs.ini in two different folders and one is Fallout4.ini

First, open Fallout4.ini C:\Users\[name]\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\ and in the section add the following lines:

FDefaultWorldFOV=XX
fDefault1stPersonFOV=XX

Then open Fallout4Prefs.ini in C:\Users\[name]\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\ and do the same as above:
In the section, add the lines:
fDefaultWorldFOV=XX
fDefault1stPersonFOV=XX

Where XX is the desired fov parameter. I think 90 is fine for most, but it's up to your taste.

Then go to your Steam installation folder - steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Fallout4 and open Fallout4Prefs.ini. There also add to the section
fDefaultWorldFOV=XX
fDefault1stPersonFOV=XX

Please note that the fov options in the Fallout 4.ini section do not need to be changed.

If you think your Pip-Boy is too small, press ~, then type fov XX, where XX is the smaller value you selected. This FOV will not affect your gameplay, but it will affect the size of your Pip-Boy. If the key does not work, change the key settings for the console.

Default Fov (80):
increased fov 110 value:

How to add support for 21:9 (ultrawide).

To ensure your game runs in 21:9 without any problems, open Fallout4Prefs.ini in the C:\Users\[name]\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\ folder and change the following lines to the values below:

BTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=XXXX
iSize W=YYYY

Where XXXX is your horizontal resolution and YYYY is your vertical resolution.

The HUD will stretch out a bit, but it's a good start.
Unlocking the console:

Some users have reported that the default console doesn't work for them (and when they press the tilde ~ nothing happens). If it works, then you don't need to do anything. To fix this, go to the panel windows languages and change the layout to English.

Another solution would be to use the @ key.

On this moment this may help you.
The mouse in the menu is invisible

The most common solution for this if you have a gamepad connected is to disable it. However, you can solve this in another way:

Open Fallout4Prefs.ini (C:\Users\[name]\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\) and change the following line:
bGamepadEnable=1
on
bGamepadEnable=0
Vertical and horizontal mouse movements are different

If you don't like it, you can quickly fix it. Simply open Fallout4.ini (C:\Users\[name]\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\) and change the following:

fMouseHeadingYScale=.021
on
fMouseHeadingYScale=.03738

This should work at 16:9 resolutions

For users who want to experiment with graphics - improve or reduce them through the INI settings.

Pip-Boy Fallout 4 – pocket (or rather, wrist) Personal Computer A survivor. This is the main element of the interface through which you can control the game process. Without it, it is impossible to survive in the Wasteland - there will be no access to weapons, medicine, tasks, maps. But what is a PDA capable of, how can it be controlled, and can it be modified?

What is Pip-Boy

Pip-Boy 3000 Mk IV is a wrist laptop pre-war time. It was specially developed by RobCo for storing information and sharing it among residents of Vaults. It is a wrist-mounted device with a monochrome green (although you can change the color in the game settings) monitor and several buttons/wheels for control.

The survivor picks up the Pip-Boy from the scientist's skeleton while trying to get out of the shelter (quest "Time is Running Out"). This device replaces the gamer’s game menu - it will allow you to access your inventory, task log, map and other important sections.

Device functions

This wrist computer collects all the information necessary for the inhabitants of the Vaults: about the health status of the wearer, his inventory, position in space, skills, and so on. Capable of showing the current time and analyzing the owner’s condition (amount of radiation in the body, presence of physical damage).

In Fallout 4, Pip-Boy 3000 version 4 allows the player to:

  1. View player statistics - current level and status in the game, health status, S.P.E.C.I.A.L. parameters. and skills.
  2. Dig into the character's inventory, selecting weapons, armor, medicine, or studying other categories of items.
  3. Get acquainted with the current data about the task and the list of all taken quests, their statistics and other useful information.
  4. View maps of the area in your Pip-Boy and determine your position in the Fallout world
  5. Tune in to FM waves and listen to radio broadcasts from the Wasteland.
  6. Launch mini-games from found holodisks, made in the style of arcade machines of the 70-80s.
  7. Turn on the flashlight in dark areas for better visibility.

The latest opportunity is an innovation in Fallout 4. Previously, it was impossible to play through the Pip-boy - it only performed operational functions.

Pip-boy 3000 problems

Unfortunately, the following bug sometimes appears in Fallout 4: the PDA simply disappears from your hand, becoming invisible. This is most often due to unfinished graphics features, although the reason may lie in the use of cheats or trainers.

Solving the problem when the Pip-Boy disappears in Fallout 4 is very simple. Just open the console and enter the code player.equipitem 00021b3b 1 and leave the game. After restarting, the PDA will reappear on your hand.

How to use the Pip-Boy in Fallout 4

The player finds the PDA almost at the beginning of the game. After which it will be impossible to part with it - the Survivor will never take it off his hand.

In the computer version of the game, the device is controlled by a mouse and/or keyboard:

  1. To call the Pip-Boy in the standard layout, you need to press Tab. Holding the key will turn on the flashlight.
  2. To switch sections you need to press A or D, or click on the desired item with the mouse.
  3. To enlarge or reduce the image on the screen, you need to open the Pip-Boy and right-click to the desired size.

To control each specific section, hotkeys are indicated under the device that perform specific functions (put on, throw away, display, use, and so on). These keys can be changed in Game Settings to make them more convenient.

Varieties of Pip-Boy

By default, other Survivor Pip-Boy models are not available in Fallout 4. Unlike, for example, Fallout: New Vegas, where you could get a pretentious version of the Pimp-Boy 3 Billion PDA, cast in gold and decorated with precious stones.
